29.08.2020 osalesime Põlvas, Mesikäpa spordihallis kadettide vanuse Eesti meistrivõistlustel.
Lääneranna valda esindasid Eerik Pank ja Stefan-Lauri Mölder. Mõlemad noorsportlased osalesid suvel Eesti noortekoondise laagrites. Eerik osales lisaks ka Audentese spordikooli maadlejate laagris. Mõlemad noored said suvel tippspordielule suhteliselt lähedase kogemuse.
Siinkohal suur tänu Lääneranna vallale, kes poiste osalemist toetas.
Lihula noormees Stefan-Lauri Mölder saavutas -65kg kehakaalus 3. koha. Suurt kaaluvõtmist ei olnud, pigem hoidsime. Loos oli väga hea, Stefanil ei ole kunagi head loosi tähtsatel võistlustel olnud. Stefan maadles rabedalt ja toorelt, aga võttis kõik, mis sellel laupäeval ripakil oli ja talle kuuluma pidi.
Tasuks Eesti meistrivõistluste pronks väga tugevas konkurentsis.
